Test Module

• New VERTEC LIKE Test: by attaching two OptoJump Next bars in vertical position to a wall it is possible to carry out a test similar to the Vertec test. At the beginning of the test the athlete is asked to stretch out one arm over his/her head placing his/her hand against the wall to calculate the total height. After that the athlete jumps (with or without run-up) touching the wall reaching as high as possible. The software calculates the difference in cm (or inches) between the two measures.
• Two new pieces of information have been added to the Tapping Test (shown as columns in the data grid): Tapping Point representing the centroid of both feet and Tendency for the displacement of both centroids. It is furthermore possible to set a minimum distance between the two feet (in the secondary parameters), which is compulsory during the test to ensure a correct distinction between the two feet.

Results Module

• New Image Management: this new features makes it possible to add a caption (i.e. a short name or title) as well as a note (a longer field containing a description) to still images created from a video frame. The images added to a report are managed via a new module for editing the two above-mentioned fields, changing the display order, and, if necessary, deleting them.

Miscellaneous

• The manual in PDF format is now available on PC without the need for an Internet connection.
• The default database file created when installing the software for the first time is now stored in the directory 'My Documents\Microgate\OptoJump Next' instead of %appdata%.
• Every time the software is launched (and if you are connected to the Internet), it checks automatically if there are new versions available and the user is asked if the program should be updated.
• When exporting tests to Excel format, the Date and Time fields are divided into two columns
