Besides the 'GG Protocol', which was already featured in previous versions, now there are two new protocols, each with a relative print report (clic on link for an in-depth explanation):
- Drift Protocol: This protocol is made of 4 tests with 5 one-leg jumps each for evaluating 'dynamic stability'.
- Five Dot Drill Protocol: This is a speed/agility (and endurance) test, which is very popular in the United States
- You can change the name of a custom test definition, even if you have already performed the tests of that type
- It is now possible to export ONLY the selected tests in OJN format (a compressed file containing the database as well as video and images). Choose the required tests, press the Export button (just like for exporting to Excel) and choose the option OJN. The file will contain only data (athletes, test definitions and test data) related to the tests selected.
- In the grid of numerical data, for each column value, the "Coefficient of Variation" (CV) is added.
The coefficient of variation is a normalized measure of dispersion of a probability distribution. It is also known as unitized risk or the variation coefficient. It is defined as the ratio of the standard deviation (σ) to the mean (µ). This is the inverse of the signal-to-noise ratio:
CV =σ / |µ|
The CV is only defined for non-zero mean and the absolute value is taken for the mean to ensure it is always positive. We express it as percentage (multiplied by 100).
- By right-clicking a row in the protocol list, you can change the person who has performed.
- Update of the user guide and the web site (new Knowledge Base section) with explanations of above-stated protocols, 'Vertec Like' and 'Ski Tests', as well as imbalance and reference indexes
- Upgraded the hardware Optojump FTDI USB driver (latest version 2.8.14); the previous driver (2.8.02) developed by the manufacturer of the USB chip, could cause on some PC sudden crashes or slower performance.
